Book Club Vibes: Laughter, Real Talk & a Mug I’ll Never Forget.
Wow—what a night! I had the absolute pleasure of joining the Shades of Color Book Club for a hilarious, heartfelt, and downright unforgettable discussion of That’s Lovely! Let me just say: these ladies did not come to play. They came with questions, opinions, behind-the-scenes curiosity, and some serious book-loving energy—and I was here for all of it.
We laughed (a lot), talked about everything from plot twists to character flaws, and even got into some of the deeper themes that shaped the story. It felt less like an author event and more like sitting down with old friends who really read the book—and weren’t afraid to say what they thought. My favorite kind of people!
And the cherry on top? They gifted me the sweetest surprise: a coffee mug with the cover of That’s Lovely! on it, signed by every single member. It’s now proudly sitting on my desk—a daily reminder of that amazing evening and the joy of connecting with readers who truly get it.

Book Launch Celebration at Le Cocktail Club NYC
What an unforgettable night! I’m beyond thrilled to announce the launch of my debut novel, and it couldn’t have been a better celebration. We gathered at Le Cocktail Club in NYC for a night full of great vibes, amazing music from a top DJ, and an incredible crowd. The space was perfect, the food and drinks were on point, and the energy was absolutely contagious.
A huge thank you to everyone who came to support, chat, and make the evening truly special. It was such a joy to sign books, share my journey, and connect with all of you. Here’s to many more unforgettable moments ahead!
